Yaaaawwwwnnnn... so busy.
Busybusybusybizzy.
Have lots going on at once, all of the sudden, but I like a little 'get the butt in gear' action. Show in 3 days. ACK! I won't lie, all of the little things to do add up to lots of time. Ah well, I had 3 weeks notice for the show, or was it 4? Regardless, busy busy.
Here's some recent work, the next photos I will submit to this blog will be from my show! Merchandise is going to be available, so my Etsy store will be up and at 'em.
I hope this blog finds you happy and well.

Tree Serendipity
My new favorite peice. I had so much fun making this. I have been in turbo mode, getting quite a bit done! I will have more soon to say and share... but right now my eyes are bugged out from painting all day.

Art show next month! Hurray!
As you can see, things are busy over here! I am getting ready for a little show at a coffee roasting company here in Astoria. Located RIGHT under the big huge bridge. :) I am very excited to spend my last month here loving the Ocean and participating in art. I am really please with how well the "Sketchbook Throwdown" is going. Even if not everyone has been able to participate, the thought and support has been great!
I will have more about the show after Wednesday when I meet with the manager, Carly. I am stoked, and for the first time, will have merchandise and a few small prints available.
I am also very excited for the next Urban Canvas show. Big news and I will be sharing that info with you soon as well! Hint: Who's got the FUNK???
Until then...
I hope all is well.

D Minor would never escape his pensive fate.

I love this one. I love the minor scale and imagining each note with it's own personality. It's another gray day here in Astoria. I am going to make the most of it... work, play, clean, pack, create!
I hope this blog finds you happy and well!

Studies in Amoebaism
Hello hello!
Well the Sketchbook Throwdown is going great, with more participants than I had expected.
Busy times mean small blogs, and I am really sorry for that. But packing, cleaning, moving and art all consume my days. Not to mention enjoying what little Summer we have here in the Pacific Northwest.
I'll be adding more photos of sketches soon. :)
Until then, love life and be good to yourself,
Ames
